FUNCTIONS OF THE INTEGRATED PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION UNIT:
- The Integrated Project Implementation Unit (IPIU) is responsible, in accordance with decisions of the Government of Mongolia and the procedures of the Ministry of Finance, for effectively implementing projects and activities financed by foreign loans and assistance within the established timeframe; ensuring sound and efficient financial and budget management; and ensuring transparency.
By Order No. 174 of the Minister of Finance dated 1 October 2025, the “Interim Procedure for Transferring Foreign Loan and Assistance Projects to the Integrated Project Implementation Unit” and the corresponding structure and staffing were approved.
- Pursuant to the above order, the Integrated Project Implementation Unit of the Ministry of Economy and Development was approved with a staff of 21.
